    This day one year ago was my first half marathon. 🏃‍♀️ I’ve done three more since then - including one with a stress fracture 😬- but this first one holds a special place in my heart. 💜 Can’t wait to get back to that distance although right now I’d settle for a 5k! Or actually, walking without crutches come to think of it! 🙃 #rehab #recovery #runninggoals

    I don’t have any words about what we witnessed last night and into the early hours of this morning. I’m too sad, too numb, too disbelieving to find them. So I’m reposting a piece I wrote 8 years ago, in 2016, about a day I hoped we would never have to live through again. But here we are. Link in bio to the piece called #TheMorningAfter 🍁The irony of the title, given where we are today in 2024 on women’s reproductive rights is not lost on me.

    On a side note, I’d give anything to be able to go for a run right now. 😔
